What are the advantages of using CNC lathe?
The processing of hardware parts using CNC lathes is automatically carried out according to the previously compiled programs. Except for the actual operation of computer keyboards, loading and unloading of workpieces, the intermediate inspection of key processes and the observation of the operation of CNC lathes, the operators do not need to carry out complex repetitive manual operations, and the work intensity and tension can be greatly alleviated.
1、 What are the advantages of using CNC lathe
(1) CNC lathes generally have better safety protection, automatic chip removal, automatic cooling and automatic lubrication equipment. CNC lathes do not need to use a lot of tooling like general CNC lathes, but only a small number of jigs and fixtures.
(2) Once the part drawing is modified, new hardware parts can be processed in a short time by modifying a part of the corresponding program. Therefore, the production cycle time is short and the coordination ability is strong, which provides favorable conditions for the production of multiple varieties and small batches and the development of new products.
(3) The range of spindle speed and feed rate of the CNC lathe is larger than that of the general CNC lathe. Each process can select a better cutting amount. The structural rigidity of the CNC lathe allows the CNC lathe to carry out powerful cutting with large cutting amount, thus effectively saving the motor time.
(4) The moving parts of CNC lathe are controlled by acceleration and deceleration in positioning, and can use high idle travel speed to shorten positioning and non cutting time. When using the machining center with tool magazine and automatic tool change equipment, the workpiece can be clamped once to achieve each processing procedure, which reduces the turnover time of semi-finished products and has high productivity. The processing quality of CNC lathe is stable, and the inspection time can be reduced.
(5) The working efficiency of CNC lathe can be 2-3 times higher than that of ordinary lathe, and the productivity of complex hardware parts can be more than ten times or even dozens of times higher.
2、 Processing steps for processing hardware with CNC lathe:
(1) Dimensional accuracy requirements. Analyze the requirements of the dimensional accuracy of the drawing to determine whether the turning process is used and determine the process method for controlling the dimensional accuracy.
(2) Requirements for shape and position accuracy. Compared with traditional CNC lathes, CNC lathes are more convenient to process parts on the shape and position accuracy of raw materials, and the standard is more relaxed. The given shape and position tolerance is an important basis for ensuring accuracy. During processing, it is necessary to determine the positioning datum and measuring datum according to its requirements, and also carry out some technical processing according to the special needs of the CNC lathe, so as to effectively control the shape and position accuracy.
(3) Material and heat treatment requirements. The material and heat treatment requirements given in the drawing are the basis for selecting the CNC lathe model and determining the cutting parameters.
(4) The geometric conditions that make up the profile. When programming manually in turning, calculate the coordinates of each node; In automatic programming, all geometric elements that make up the profile are defined.
