Characteristics of CNC machine tools
Compared with traditional machine tools, CNC machine tools have the following characteristics.
1) Highly flexible
Machining parts on CNC machine tools depends on the processing sequence. It is different from ordinary machine tools. It does not need to make, replace many molds and fixtures, and do not need to adjust the machine tools frequently. As a result, CNC machine tools are applicable to places where the processed parts are frequently changed, that is, suitable for the consumption of single pieces and small batches of products and the development of new products, thus prolonging the consumption preparation cycle and saving the cost of a small amount of process equipment.
2) High machining accuracy
The machining accuracy of the CNC machine tool can reach 0.05-0.1MM individually. The CNC machine tool is controlled according to the digital signal situation. Every time a pulse signal is output by the CNC installation, the moving part of the machine tool moves a pulse equivalent (0.001MM individually). Moreover, the reverse clearance of the machine tool's feed transmission chain and the uniform error of the screw pitch can be compensated by the CNC installation. Therefore, the positioning accuracy of the CNC machine tool is relatively high.
3) Stable and reliable processing quality
When machining the same batch of parts, under the same processing conditions and on the same machine tool, use the same tools and processing sequence, the tool path is complete and the same, the parts are consistent, and the quality is stable.
4) High consumption rate
The CNC machine tool can effectively increase the processing time and auxiliary time of parts. The spindle sound speed and feed rate of the CNC machine tool are large in scale, and the machine tool is allowed to perform powerful cutting with large cutting amount. CNC machine tools are now entering the period of high-speed machining. The rapid moving and positioning of moving parts of CNC machine tools and high-speed cutting have greatly improved the consumption rate. In addition, with the tool magazine of the machining center, it can realize the continuous processing of multiple processes on one machine tool, increase the turnover time between processes of semi-finished products, and improve the consumption rate.
5) Improve rest conditions
Before processing, the CNC machine tool will be adjusted, output sequence is started, and the machine tool can actively continue processing until the processing is completed. All the operators need to do is output of sequence, compilation, parts loading and unloading, tool preparation, observation of processing conditions, parts testing and other tasks. The intensity of rest decreases greatly, and the rest of machine tool operators tends to be intelligent tasks. In addition, individual machine tools are combined, which is clean and safe.
6) Use consumption to manage modernization
The processing of numerical control machine tools can accurately predict the processing time after the event. The tools and fixtures used can be standardized and modernized. It is easy to realize the standardization of processing information. At present, it has been organically combined with computer aided design and production (CAD/CAM), which is the basis of modern integrated production techniques.
